- Who knew back in 1995 when Naki and I met that we’d find ourselves living in Happy Valley, Utah, with our 5 crazy, loud, and beautiful girls. More often than not you’ll find Naki coming from or going to work, at church, playing with the girls, helping mom with the girls, or falling asleep sitting up. And most often you can find me in the laundry room, rinsing and loading the dishes, doing homework with the girls, changing diapers, doing baths, reading books, falling asleep sitting up, and as Maria says in The Sound of Music, “having a marvelous time”.

I bet Mom can tell a million stories about when Connie was taking care of you. My favorite one is when Grandma Mitchell came to visit and Con was carryng you around as a newborn. Do some quick math on ages and you will see why Grandma M was not all that happy. Grandpa D.
That is sweet…and…I hope that you’ll have a wonderful holidays. Love, Tim/Uncle Tim
I always observed the delicate cooperative balancing act, akin to two on a bicycle on a tightrope, between care giver and care receiver. There was a VERY high level of ebb and flow, give and take, roll and pause going on which was different from when I was the “changer!” Delightful!! Joyful!! Memorable!! Bonds that never, ever go away. Love, mom/gma
